A Nook in a Polyhouse in Nashik is an award-winning landscape project that treats the greenhouse structure as a nurturing frame for both botanical life and human connection. The design utilizes purposeful minimalism—featuring reclaimed wood, local cane, and exposed brick—alongside movable elements like floating floors and retractable nets that allow the space to evolve with the seasons. By celebrating impermanence and circularity, the project creates a high-empathy environment that earned the title of Asia’s Best Landscape Planning 2025.

Amidst the greens of Nashik, A Nook in a Polyhouse reimagines landscape planning as an intimate dialogue between architecture and ecology. Rather than asserting itself, the project thrives in its restraint—light on the land, yet rich in meaning. It is not just a space within nature, but of nature—shaped by seasons, sounds, and the gentle pulse of life. The polyhouse is treated not as a shell, but as a nurturing frame for both botanical and human growth.

The design’s brilliance lies in its purposeful minimalism. Reclaimed packing wood, cane furniture from local artisans, and exposed brick reflect a deeply rooted ethos. Movable elements—floating floors, retractable shade nets—make the space flexible and alive, evolving with time rather than freezing it. Here, impermanence is celebrated, creating a circular system where the landscape adapts and thrives.

Most of all, A Nook in a Polyhouse is a landscape that feels. It breathes with the mist, hums with laughter, and listens to the soil. It is this rare empathy—designing not to impress, but to harmonize—that makes it a deserving winner of Asia’s Best Landscape Planning 2025.
